Art Exhibition at Chateau Elan, Braselton, Georgia

Byron Tracy Snyder is planning a show for Chateau Elan for the fall of 2010. Tentatively scheduled for this October - December, but specific dates will be announced as soon as they are available.

September 24 & 25, 2010 Painting Workshop Announced

Juried Status – Portrait Society of Atlanta

Byron Tracy Snyder has achieved Juried status membership in the Portrait Society of Atlanta (PSA). To receive Juried status in the society, an artist must be accepted, and exhibit, a portrait in three PSA shows and provide 2 years of volunteer service to the society.

Third Place Winner!

Snyder placed third in the Portrait Society of Atlanta's Summer Exhibition at the Mable House Art Gallery. Distinguished portrait artist and juror, Michael Del Priore, presented the awards.

Exhibit Finalist - Opening Reception June 6, 2009

Snyder's portrait Carolyn Cosby was accepted into the Portrait Society of Atlanta's Summer Exhibit at the Mable House Art Gallery in Mableton, Georgia. Juried by well-known portrait artist, Michael Del Priore, this show of 65 paintings runs from June 1 – July 6, 2009. The opening reception and awards presentation is June 6, 7pm - 9pm. Anyone interested in seeing the show is welcome to attend.

Finalist in the Richeson 75

Byron Tracy Snyder's oil portrait of Carolyn Cosby was a finalist in the Richeson 75: International Figure / Portrait Art Competition. The painting was displayed in the Richeson School of Art & Gallery in Kimberly, Wisconsin through August 24, 2008.

Merit Award from Portrait Society of Atlanta

Snyder's portrait, "Sunday Reflections" was a finalist in the Portrait Society of Atlanta's Summer Exhibition 2008 at www.portraitsocietyofatlanta.org.
