Finalist in the Portrait Society of Atlanta's Summer 09 Exhibition
The painting will be on display at the Mable House Art Gallery, Mableton, Georgia, June 1, 2009 through July 6, 2009. The exhibition was juried by well-known artist, Michael Del Priore.
This oil painting of Carolyn Cosby of Ballground, Georgia, was painted in the spring of 2008. Mrs. Cosby sat for the artist on three separate occasions at his studio in Woodstock, Georgia. Snyder began the painting from life in the first session. He continued working from photographs between each of the other sessions.
